Calgary pricing guide
Every Klutch price, with GST included, and what to watch for when comparing Calgary driving schools.
Driver education in Calgary generally costs between $700 and $1,500 for a full program in 2026, and roughly $60–$75 per in-car hour for single lessons. The gap between schools usually comes down to lesson length, whether the car is shared, and whether pickup is billed separately.
Below is every Klutch price with the 5% GST already calculated, so you can compare totals rather than sticker prices. Alberta has no provincial sales tax, so 5% GST is the only tax added.

Compare carefully
Some schools bill a 45-minute session as an hour. A 10-hour program can quietly become 7.5 real hours behind the wheel.
Cheaper group lessons put two or three students in the car. You watch more than you drive.

Renting a car for the registry road test is often billed separately at a premium. Ours is a published $169 + GST.
